Public Service AnnouncementsHere are some sample Public Service Announcements (PSAs) that can be read over broadcast media to help spread the word about your Amnesty Program. You will want to change the dates to reflect the dates of your program and it would be good to get the name of you library into the copy. Draft your own copy to suit your needs — these are only samples 0:15 PSALibrary books that are not returned are books that cannot be used by others. Thanks to the library's Overdue Books Amnesty Program you can return overdue materials to any branch between April 6 and April 12 and put them back into circulation free of fines. ### 0:30 PSAImagine the frustration of visiting the library, needing a particular book, and finding that week after week that book is checked out. That's what happens when books that are checked out are not returned. If you are aware of any overdue library books, you will be interested to know that from April 6 to April 12 those books can be returned, free of fines, thanks to the library's "Share The Thrill! Return The Books!" Amnesty Program. So bring those overdue materials to any library branch between April 6 and April 12, save paying those fines, and put those books back into circulation. ###
